I went to the mall today and chatted w/Monica. I stayed there until she got off work, which was at 4pm; she got off early and went to buy some yummy wrap sandwiches at the Market in Marshall Fields. Then we went to Pahua's apt. We dint do anything there; I just watched Pahua play Sponge Bob. Then Pahua and Sissy went x-mas tree shopping and I went w/them.

We ended up going to Rack'em Up. Monica wanted to go because ladies get unlimited pool w/the purchase of a drink ($1.50). Our total was $6, and we played and played. Then I started to look around and started noticing people from middle school and early high school.

First, I saw Qua Khang. OMG--he's such a hottie--but he was such a dork in middle school. *shrugs* I asked Pahua and Monica if it really was Qua, and they were like "yah! it's him!" Then they told me to go ask if it was really him. "No way!" I told them. So since Sissy doesn't know him, she kept calling out his name. He kept looking over but he never really responded. The funny thing was that I was the only one catching him looking over. Every time one of the other girls looked over, he was talking to his friends or something, just not looking over. Eventually, by the end of the night, Pahua called out his name one last time and he turned around but walked away. He's probably thinking, "Gosh, I dunno these weirdos. Why do they keep buggin me?" *shrugs*

The next guy I noticed was Dundy's brother, Johnny. He's a cutie, but gosh, he's too short. He doesn't have much personality either. But he wasn't there for long; him and his friends left after Pahua and Sissy played one game. (keep in mind that we suck! so our games last forever!)

Eventually, Youa came around w/her friend Xyooj. They played a quick game, and then we rotated. Youa came to play w/us and OMG--she totally scares me in game! First off, she just dyed her roots red and it makes her look like such a rebel. Then, when she's going to hit, she's got the meanest look on her face. And then, she hits and OMG--totally strong and smooth and scary! We play so goofy and she's so serious. What a mix...

First Sissy went to play w/Xyooj. She played a quick game, just talked to him during it, and handed the stick to Monica. Monica played a little longer w/him, but she soon handed the stick over to me. She told me that he was going to run for the Prince this year at the Metrodome New Year. "Okay, something to talk about," I thought to myself. Only Sissy and Youa know this guy.

So I go over, nervously because I can't play pool!--more like I dunno how to play. All I know is that you gotta hit the white ball to other balls to make them go in. *shrugs* So right when we got there, I asked him to teach me.

oOo--he gave me some very helpful beginner pointers! I've never had anyone teach me pool before. I kinda listen in, but nobody ever really bothered to tell me. Kacy tried to teach me once before, but she kinda didn't know how to explain it. But Xyooj broke it down and it was much more easy to follow along! I have a new favorite hand position, and now I know a lot more about aiming. I am still very uncomfortable with the table though; I'm not very into getting all over the table. I just gotta relax though. That's what I don't do in any kinda sport, which is why I'm so bad at sports. I'm always too nervous.

I ended up winning in my long game w/Xyooj, only because he hit the 8-ball in! "Tsk--you're just getting bored w/me because I can't play!" I told him. We shot a couple of practice balls and then Pahua came over w/my jacket. Finally leaving!! And then, in the car, Sissy noticed that she didn't have her scarf. It was hung behind my jacket and Pahua said she didn't see it when she took my jacket off the hook... Sissy called Xyooj and left a VM for him to go look for it.

In the car, Pahua told me that Youa said, "Look at those two. What a couple! What's Kabu's last name?" LOL--no way! Nothing between us! Sure there were awkward moments when he was teaching me--but it was so NOTHING like on TV! Pahua asked, "Did he touch your hands? Was he holding them?" LOL--no! There was this one time he put his hand under mine because I couldn't keep steady; I was in a really weird position--his hand was there to help me. That's the only time we even touched! There was this one time that he directed my stick because I wasn't holding it right. Hrms... Nope! Nothing that would create sparks.
