Ikea
Monday, September 4, 2006
We're supposed to be going to Ikea today for the Labor Day sale. I'm not sure what time though because my parents haven't woken up yet. (For some reason, "woken" looks funny. Did I spell it wrong?) I'm hoping to maybe buy a rug thing for my bathroom, and... Actually, that's all I was thinking of buying. I'll probably come up with more things that I'd like when we actually get there.

I am currently really tired. Not like I'd drop dead the very instant I'm not doing anything but I haven't gotten any sleep yet. Which is really bad because I still have homework that needs to be done and I'm not even close to finishing. Oh well. I'll do it tomorrow after school.

I saw this really pretty bracelet from Amazon.com that had a heart charm on it. I'd really like it since my last charm bracelet is no more (the charms fell off) but its almost $30 so my parents probably won't get it for me and won't let me get it myself. Hopefully I'll find another charm bracelet to wear soon. Its like a security blanket thing, I guess. I also have another type of charm bracelet that I wear on my right arm and I've had one like that since I was three or so. It had bells on it and when I was in 3rd grade, whenever I rose my hand, my teacher'd know it was me without looking because you could hear my bracelet.

I just came across the funniest quote ever while surfing on Blogmad and I just had to post it here. Lol. "People who drink to drown their sorrow should be told that sorrow knows how to swim." Some of you may be thing, how that's funny but it just is. Hope that made at least one person smile or I'm like a really totally lame person.

My parents don't really know me at all. CS= computer science, btw. It's full of hateful, angry people.

We don't have an Ikea in the ghetto. I'd really like to go to one, though.
» ikimashokie on 2006-09-04 12:19:19

In the ghetto, no. Everyone except walmart's afraid of us, and walmart's only there because of cheap labor that it knows won't go anywhere. :/

I don't mind people taking slow walks, but if they know they walk slower than others, they should keep to the side. When I'm trying to get through hundreds of people to get my next class in 10-15minutes, at times .75mi away, and they're all walking ridiculously slow, then it gets to be super annoying.

I love jewelry. It isn't jewelry, but on Gaia Online, there's really cute wristband with a little angel wing on it that I want. Necklaces are my favorite jewelry.

awww thank you! =DDDD you rock too XDDDD although half the time i must admit, when i come to read blogs it's either crazy early in the morning and i feel like an absolute zombie so can't be stuffed to read properly, or it's some crazy hr at night and i'm even more zombie-fied...

yeesh, it seems like i walk around brain-dead 90% of the time... that being said, i wonder when i'm ever not braindead x_X;; -wonders how in the world i managed to ace my exams-

but yes! i dont really go to ikea... o_O;; i think i've seen one before... somewhere... see, another example when England sucks x_X but yes...

eek... i want stuff from amazon ;_; you should see my wishlist. it's not very long at the moment, but it's coming up to like... $100 x_X (mostly from all the pocky i want ^^;; not my fault there are no pocky stores near me x_x)

hm... i'm not that big a fan of jewellery though =/ i cant wear necklaces cos for some reason my neck randomly decided it'd like to be allergic to metal, and my ear likes to be infected, so the only "jewellery" i wear nowadays is a Christian wristband saying 'P.U.S.H.' (pray until something happens) which works just fine for me! ^_^

Thanks! ^^ I get to sing one Christmas song. The song that I sing at the audition will more than likely be the one that I'll sing at the show.

The wristband is from Gaia's store. They're only $4.99 and I might buy two. ^.^ I want to get the kiki plushie, which is $15. XD
» Kirei on 2006-09-04 01:01:13

Aww! The wrist bands are sooo cute! Maybe I'll upload it on photobucket for you. ^^

lol, i saw a funny quote on blogmad today too!...

i just cant remember it. x_x see, not only am i an idiot, "stupidly smart", but i also have the memory of a goldfish... =sigh= i dont understand how you can say i rock.

oh wait!!! i just remembered!!!... well it's not a quote, it's more like a short entry heh... something about schezo--something--phoenia or something, which i cant spell x_X well if you find it, i laughed a lot when i read it XD

hmm... i dunno, i work in £ not $, see? ^^;; plus i dont buy many books unless it's manga so it doesnt make much of a difference to me.

hehe thanks =D they're Christian ones, only 99p (like... $1 or something?). i love it so much *heart*. a few christian friends of mine have the whole lot, like F.R.O.G (Forever Relying on God) and WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) but i liked PUSH the best cos it's a very special message to anyone who has a little faith in the LORD, that they shouldnt give up, just cos one prayer didnt work =]

oh yes, a question about blogmad... well, i was browsing through blogs, and it said i'd earned 18 credits this session or whatnot, then i got back to my main window thing and i had 150 credits??? o_O how's that work...? @_@

oh yes, i will be joining blogazoo through your referral now =] i hope you get credits from that too, if they work on a credits basis!

Yes I'd love to be making money by mowing lawns and babysitting and all that... the only problem is I don't think anybody would hire me. Why hire a teenager when you can get cheap illegal immigrants to work for you? Besides, they don't need water and will be faster! (I'm assuming this is what people do because I always see the immigrant guys waiting to be called for work outside Home Depot.) And I don't get allowance. :( Instead I do chores for 50 cents each, a very slow way of making money.

Rock climbing... the indoor one. Even if I somehow managed to do REAL rock climbing for my birthday, the risk of accidently killing one of my friends would probably be too high.

If "woken" sounds wrong....
...you could always opt for the easy way out, "waked". "My parents haven't waked up yet." See? Problem solved ;-) Hmm...jewelry. Well if I wasn't male I might be able to give you more productive feedback XD.

Haha that's a witty quote you got there...I didn't have much a reaction though until you said "Hope that made at least one person smile or I'm like a really totally lame person." I don't know why I just thought this was funny in light of you joke XD. I wasn't laughing AT YOU or anything, it was just one of those times...

Peace!

I only get 50 cents for each chore because a while back my brother went on strike, demanding we get paid for our labor.

I don't have a choice about whether I do my chores or not. If I don't do them, nobody else will and my mom will yell at me about how I'm lazy and irresponsible and blah blah blah... "you have to do them because my back is bad" blah blah blah etc.
