Evil is to the eye of the observer. The dog is evil, so it seems to the cat; the cat is evil, so it seems to the bird; the bird is evil so it seems to the worm. I am evil, so it seems to NuTang,, for that I have not updated, even with an abundance of writing material.
Last Saturday, I went for my Level 3 guitar test. It was my first RCM test, and despite my musically talented friends repeatedly telling me that at Level 3, the test is extremely easy, I was nervous to the point where my ear was hot and my hands were sweating. The moment I realized my hands were sweaty, I recalled the fact that the hand need to be dry and relaxed when playing the guitar, which caused more nervousness, which in turn, caused more sweating. Just great... now I got positive feedback too. I took 15 minuets to practice before the actual test. Unfortunately, my tuner chose that moment to run out of batteries, so I had to trust the strings that they have not untuned themselves in the last 10 hours.
The actual test was that bad. I played a total of 4 wrong notes in my 2 pieces and 2 studies, 0 in my scales. I didn¡¯t know that I had to do Arpeggio patterns, but the examiner was nice (or appeared to be so) and gave me the sheet to look at, and it turned out to be quite easy.
The results are coming in a week or so, when it does... I¡¯ll: a)go on a rampage b) abuse my guitar c) cheer and get back to life
