This Weblog entry is here to introduce you to a wonderful online game named Kingdom of Loathing.
The game is an MMORPG consisting of over 1 x 10⁶ players. The game consists of hand-drawn images and many witty comments and contains vast references to other MMORPGs, Pop Cultures... and many other areas of entertainment.
The game is turn-based, as you are given a certain amount of turns, called adventures, each day. The "days" start at approximately 10:30pm EST, called rollover. You may eat and drink to increase the turns, but only to a certain extent.
Like many MMORPG, the objective of the game is different for each player, there are trophy collectors, ascenders, hardcore ascenders, chatters, meat (yes, a rather odd currency, but it makes more sense than monsters drop meat rather than coins or bills) makers...
