So I am a huge lover of animals. So when I read stuff like this I often wonder how people's minds work.

Here in Colorado strange stuff happens all the time.

Dog with note found wandering on highway

DENVER Gordon Lee doesnt say much, but if he could, this dog would tell you a story that might break your heart.

Gordon Lee is a 5-year-old Lhasa Apso mix. He is gentle and quiet and was found walking along C-470 at 4:30 a.m. Thursday.

The only thing he had was a note:

My name is Gordon Lee. Im a fixed boy. My family has to move and they cant keep me. I sometimes shake and get scared. Please help me find a new family.

The Good Samaritan that found Gordon Lee brought him to the animal emergency room in Littleton. The Samaritan found him at Wadsworth Boulevard and C-470. She was apparently on her way to the airport to pick up her parents.

Hes very worried. I think he may be very concerned where his folks are, why this is happening to him, said Milan Hess with Colorado Veterinary Specialists.

I think it's ridiculous. You have a healthy, charming young little dog, that they put work into, they've groomed him, they've neutered him, they've done all these things and then they abandon him, said Hess.

The vets with Colorado Veterinary Specialists are not sure if Gordon Lee is the dogs real name.

He doesnt respond to his name. He doesnt respond to anything else either, said Hess.

If you are interested in adopting Gordon Lee, Lhasa rescue will be in charge of screening potential owners for Gordon Lee. You can contact them by visiting www.cstmr.org.

Colorado Veterinary Specialists say they will keep Gordon Lee for a week before turning him over to the other shelter. They say his adoption is free, they only want contributions to their stray pet fund.

Hes a good little dog, said Hess.

Experts say there are many options for people who can no longer keep their pets.

The Dumb Friends League has a 24 hour drop off at their location on 2080 S. Quebec St. There is also a 24 hour drop off at the Castle Rock Buddy Center at 4556 Castleton Court.

Why didn't the person just take the dog to a place like the dumb friends league? why just dump him on the side of the road and leave a note? Too bad I couldn't have a dog here or I would take in the little guy.

Zoey is happy...
Sunday. 2.25.07 1:32 pm
So Yesterday I took one of my cat's...Zoey...over to live with my grandma. Zoey is very friendly and my grandma said she wanted a cat and she requested Zoey. So I took him over there yesterday. He seems to be adjusting fine. He did notice my grandma's bird...but I think that will be fine.

BUT this morning Splatter went ballistic. She is normally a loving cat that always has to be really close to me. This morning she is growling at me and she meows really loud when I try to hold her. Not to mention she has not ate yet this morning. She is mad.I knew this was going to be difficult for splatter. No one, except me, even thought about her during this transition. See she hated Zoey when I first brought him home a year ago. He always picks on her...but I guess she loves it.

Well I figure I will have to go and get Zoey and bring him back. I hope we can find my grandma a different cat... THIS SUCKS. I might wait a couple days to see what happens. Maybe not even that long if Splatter doesn't eat.

So not only am I sad because Zoey is gone...but now I am sad about Splatter. But they are my children...and I made a bad decision. I was just trying to make my grandma not so lonely anymore.
