I have been knitting a lot lately. Today I bought this really nice blue baby yarn and now I’m going to make my friends’ new baby boy a baby blanket. It’s a really thick, soft yarn. It’ll make one heck of a warm blanket [and kind of pricey to make]. This yarn costs approximately $3.50 each and it’ll take 3 or 4 to make a toddler bed sized afghan. I want to make sure he’d be able to use the blanket for a little while. Any smaller and it would be too small for him to actually use next winter.

I am very unavailable tomorrow/today. So luckily I am awake after midnight, I guess. I can write my 100 words now and get it posted.

I’m working on knitting an afghan. I’m pretty sure I’ll get a lot of it done over the next two days as well. Mom’s got 2 days off work, so that is a lot of time I won’t be online. So I’ll get much needed time to work on it and see how it turns out.

I found the pattern online and it’s so simple. I’m very excited to have a new project like this.

My baby blanket I’m working on for my friends’ new baby is going well. It’s getting long. The only issue is that it is going through yarn like crazy. I might have to buy at least one more thing of yarn to be able to finish this blanket. I swear that by the time it’s done, it’ll have cost me $15 in materials to make this thing.

Yesterday wasn’t all that exciting. I did get sunburned pretty badly. Parts of my chest and face are lobster red. I’m going to wear a V-neck top today. Maybe I can tan now.
