Welcome to Not Getting Run Over By A Forklift 101. For our first lesson we'll... ack! No. NO! What a terrible way to start the class!

But aren't solar-powered vampires a bit impractical?

Did you know I have somewhere around one hundred forty entires?

The primary function of the United States Coast Guard (besides protecting the borders and patroling national waters) is to travel back in time and battle pirates!

I've been rather active lately. For the pat few days, I've been volunteering at Magnolia Gardens Care Center. I don't even think I need community service hours to graduate, but if I do, this will count... I hope. It's a hospice, so there are lots of elderly people who need a ton of help to do things, so I volunteered with the activities department. I get there and start giving out coffee, then I go into the dining area after a while and serve coffee and juice and cookies and turn on a bit of music. At about eleven thirty, we bring in the residents for lunch and wheel them to the tables and serve them. After that I get an hour lunch break. I come back and do some room visits (ie going into the rooms and talking to the people) and then help with the afternoon activity.

Despite that sounding really dull, it's actually pretty fun. That should be sort of obvious since I volunteered more than one day. They said they'd be willing to hire me, but only after I got a work permit from the school which really annoys me since it's going to be such a long time, but, hey, at least it's easy money. The paperwork is a bitch, though.

In other news (news to me, anyway), I need a new bookshelf. I've been forced to stack books in front of other books once again and it gets sort of annoying when I'm looking for something.

I'm going over to someone's house again tomorrow and, although I don't know the details, I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy it. Anyway, time to put on my glasses and look cool. *puts on glasses* *realizes he looks like an idiot* *takes them off again*

*Subdued laughter from the audience*
*whack*
*thud*
*silence*

Well, that's about it besides my having to go to camp again. If I have any say in it, this is going to be the last time I ever go to camp. I mean, even if it is fun, it's really annoying going twice in one summer. Since I've been doing that for years, I think I've been burnt out.

That's about all I can think of to say, so I'll go do something else.
