All of my dreams
Once glittered just above me
Within the reach of an outstrecthed hand.
But I chanced it too soon,
Let a whim guide my way,
And fell from aloft.

But I will rebuild what I
Have lost.
I will rereach that height
No matter what cost.
I will build it back,
Guided by you -
My heart.

People have said I am
Crazy,
They kept saying
There was better for me.
But they didn't know
My elation -
I could do anything
With you near me.

For who could be better
Than someone who understands?
You have a heart,
I simply had one.
You're still alive,
So am I,
Thanks to you.
Because as long as you
Breathe,
My heart will still beat.
