I've had a lot of time to think in class these days. My teachers are always spacing out and having us to mindless work and I have tons of time to contemplate my life with a little guitar playing in the background (thanks to my CD player). I got down to wondering why I'm so self-concious and beyond modest about things.

All I could figure is that I don't like to be able to say I'm better at something than someone else. It's harder to be passive if everyone knows you're someone to look to for answers. I'd rather not be involved with these 'school politics'. If you tell someone you forgot your homework when they ask to see it, they aren't going to bother you anymore because you don't have what they're looking for. I'm not saying that I never want to speak up about things because that would be foolish. No one can ever say they are entirely content with everything happening about them in the world. So, the next time you call me althletic and I say I'm not you should know why (, even though I'm not really athletic. T'was a handy example).

I have to get some sleep. My homework killed me. It took me a good four hours to write two pages of stuff on the exploitation of African people and whatnot. Goodnight, people.

At least I always have someone to think about.
