Windows Vista...
Wednesday. 3.21.07 6:46 am

...can be downloaded @_@

but of course, i'm talking about geniune stuff. I just got my XP verified that it's a genuine copy, and i apparently now get over $100 (i don't remember the exact price. it was originally 256, and i can get it for 153 or something) off the home Premium version of Vista.

i can either order it...

or download it...

just wondering. i don't plan to buy it anytime soon, but...

how long would it take to download an ENTIRE OPERATING SYSTEM?

i mean, even the update patches alone for World of Warcraft took hours. >< and that's just a game.

WebMD.com
Wednesday. 3.21.07 7:00 am

i have this ache on my right hand. It's the big muscle underneath your pinky, and whenever i put pressure on it, it hurts. or if i move it certain ways, it hurts. which sucks, because i'm not sure what ways will make it hurt, and what ways wont, so i just have to try and either hurt, or be relieved it didn't.

anyway... i wanted to find more information about it, so i decided to check webMD.com. i guess that's a useful site for finding out about diseases, their causes, and what their symptoms are. But when it comes to "diagnosing" yourself, it's a horrible site. i came up with like 7 results as to why my hand hurts, and none of them were very pretty. one of the results was something about a nasty bug bite, and this other one was something about chronological pain. >_<

personally, i think i'd rather see a real doctor who can probably narrow it way down to hopefully, ONE plausible result instead of 7 very scary results.

this site is a very useful informational site, but i suggest for anyone that wants to "disgnose" themselves by filling in your symptoms, it's horrible. you end up being paranoid that you may have 20 different types of diseases running in your body, because their symptom questions are very broad, very general, and does not account for your daily acitivities that may have caused whatever you are feeling. (I'm speaking mostly of pain-related issues.)

so if you're concerned about a certain pain you're feeling, or anything else that is brought to your attention, just go to a doctor. after the doctor properly diagnoses you, then you can use WebMD for more information for whatever you have.

but do NOT use it for diagnosing yourself. you end up with very scary search results, and there are SO many things left unaccounted for. the TV commercials may have those people with success stories, but hopefully all of you know by now that commercials are scripted, and that 3 success stories do not equal the internet population.

plus, we're not the ones with the medical degree. the doctors are. that's what they're PAID to do. hell, most, if not all of them, make bank to look at the kinks in the mechanism we call our body.
