When I was a kid, around 11 or 12 years old, I loved to have my grandma to visit us, I'd sit in the kitchen watching her and talking to her. She washed the dishes with very hot water, and talked about her parents and her desire to become a nurse when she was young, and the denial of her father to do so. And then she would make tortillas, and talk some more about her sisters and brothers, and life when she was a kid. I loved to hear her, I've always loved stories.

My grandma, my father's mom, passed away about an hour ago, after a month of suffering. She was 89 years old, she held to life for a whole month, she has always been a very strong woman and a role model for me. I am sad, but also relieved because she's not suffering anymore.
anyways, I hope that if there is something else after life, she's okay, and happy with her brothers and sisters. If not, at least she's resting now.
