It's my two month anniversary at Nutang. It's snowing like a bat out of Hell or at least it was. They canceled the van service, as it was a state of emergency. I'm so bored of being in the house. It's very unlike me. I've got cabin fever and writer's block, a bad combination. All I can do is write these short, useless posts.

dear nutang,
i havent left my house since tuesday.even tho im in a wheelchair this isnt like me. but between a blizzard and me having a lil cold eneturing out in the weather just doesnt seem at all appropriate tomorrow my parents are coming according to my mother no matter how the weather is to pick me and Ivy to pick us up to go home for the holidays. I try to tell them that we are supost to be getting alot of snow but when do tell listen to me im 32 but they still dont listen. It till be what it will be i have no part it in.

I was supposed to be home in Pennsylvania now, but the snow and my parents broken van fixed that. I'm now going home on the train tomorrow with Ivy and if the van service doesn't run mom and Ted stepfather will come get me on Tuesday. For now, it's just wait and see. At least it's stopped snowing, even if it is bitch cold as the Mexicans say. I need to let go off being invested in what will happen. All I want to do is be home for Christmas!

Today, I'm feeling kind of bummed. It's supposed to snow. That means I can't go out for New Year's, as I need to take my manual chair, which is dangerous in slippery conditions. I can just see calling my mom and saying I'm in the hospital with a broken leg. That would be fun (or not). I'd never stop hearing about it. I for some reason can't seem to wake up today. At least, I sent in my story and poem to the contest. So, I won't get out this month at least, which several competitors are in danger of.

We had another blizzard. I missed Scrabble practice again as the transit was canceled. I am so out of practice for Scrabble. Amy, who's growing up right before my eyes, is back working for me. I'm impressed. I'm watching a lady with a dog like Richard, my cat. They are both lovable, but a bit slow on the uptake.

I just wanted you all to know I was still alive, as I haven't been here in a while.
