Oh my gosh, so many natural highs today. I loved it<3
Anyway, I'd love to share another poem I presented in class this week.
It's based off the poem, "Never Offer Your Heart To Someone Who Eats Hearts"
This is mine, tell me what you guys think! =]

Never Offer Yourself to Someone Who Clearly Knows Nothing About You

Never offer yourself
to someone who clearly knows nothing about you
who finds manipulation
enjoyable
but just enough who controls you
in every direction
and power-stricken
metal fists
like a dictator.

Never offer yourself
to a curious stranger
Your mind, body, raw
soul inquired
he will scrutinize your hopes
with a magnifying glass
and setting it on fire
fueling it from top to bottom
with his hand
like an ant.

If you discover yourself
In an unknown area
With a person
Who clearly knows nothing about you
these things
you must do:

Inform him, but
avoid vulnerability
Allow him � thereafter
he observes your strengths �
finds your weaknesses
nearly a victor
Refrain from failure
to prevent his satisfaction
discourage the passion
in your dreams.

Now,
Walk forth the long path
where greater opportunities
anticipate you
on the staggering asphalt �
long having cultivated the nature
of controlling individuality
with You
and Only You.
