My Personal Theme Song
One Moment In Time Written by Albert Hammond and John Bettis Sung by Whitney Houston Each day I live I want to be A day to give The best of me I'm only one But not alone My finest day Is yet unknown I broke my heart For ev'ry gain To tast the sweet I faced the pain I rise and fall Yet through it all This much remains I want one moment in time When I'm more than I thought I could be When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away And the answers are all up to me Give me one moment in time When I'm racing with destiny Then in that one moment in time I will feel I will feel eternity I've lived to be The very best I want it all No time for less I've laid my plans Now, lay the chance Here in my hands Give me one moment in time When I'm more than I thought I could be When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away And the answers are all up to me Give me one moment in time When I'm racing with destiny Then in that one moment in time I will feel I will feel eternity You're a winner For a lifetime If you seize that one moment in time Make it shine Give me one moment in time When I'm more than I thought I could be When all of my dreams are a heartbeat away And the answers are all up to me Give me one moment in time When I'm racing with destiny Then in that one moment in time I will be Free My Favorite Song
Artist: Superchick Album: Last One Picked Song: Hero No one sits with him, he doesn’t fit in But we feel like we do when we make fun of him Cause you want to belong do you go along Cause his pain is the price paid for you to belong It’s not like we hate him or want him to die But maybe he goes home and thinks suicide Or he comes back to school with a gun at his side And a kindness from you might have saved his life Heroes are made when you make a choice You could be a hero Heroes do what’s right You could be a hero You might save a life You could be a hero, You could join the fight For what’s right for what’s right for what’s right No one talks to her, she feels so alone She’s in too much pain to survive on her own The hurt she can’t handle overflows to a knife She writes on her arm, wants to give up her life Each day she goes on is a day that she is brave, Fighting the lie that giving up is the way, Each moment of courage her own life she saves When she throws out the pills a hero is made Heroes are made when you make a choice You could be a hero Heroes do what’s right You could be a hero You might save a life You could be a hero, You could join the fight For what’s right for what’s right for what’s right No one talks to him about how he lives He thinks that the choices he makes are just his Doesn’t know he’s a leader with the way he behaves And others will follow the choices he’s made He lives on the edge, he’s old enough to decide His brother who wants to be him is just nine He can do what he wants because it’s his right The choices he makes change a nine year old’s life Heroes are made when you make a choice You could be a hero Heroes do what’s right You could be a hero You might save a life You could be a hero, You could join the fight For what’s right for what’s right for what’s right | Wednesday. 12.10.03 9:27 pm my opinions on the different blog services Tuesday. 12.9.03 6:19 pm livejournal - good if you have a paid account (like me) ujournal - kinda blah, cheap imitation of livejournal deadjournal - kinda depressing, but the journals are halfway intelligent needlesspanic - annoying, but okay easyjournal - worse than xanga on a bad day. no way to update. they should be sued for false advertising journalspace - hey, this is actually kinda cool...once you get past the fact it's nearly impossible to make your page look cool without knowing a shitload of html xanga - easy to customize, but otherwise so not cool myownjournal - great site, not well-known or nothing, but can get a bit annoying with their setup nuTang - r0x0r my s0x0rs! greatestjournal- halfway decent setup. offers good services. still need time to decide if it really is THE GREATEST JOURNAL. there are others, but these are the ones that stick out in my mind. I have all of them, and with the exception of easyjournal, I update each one at least once a week. nuTang and livejournal and xanga are the top ones since those are my faves, except for xanga but offline people read xanga. I won't go into details, but I feel like someone dumped a large bucket of ice water over my head without warning. I have such a fragile relationship with him. If you read this Jacob...hopefully you can understand that I am merely a girl who was confused and venting and all that crud. ~H-R~ Comment! (1) | Recommend!
