I'm a terrible [blog] person

"I'm A Terrible Person" - Rooney
As I expressed in my previous entry, ever since the beginning of this semester I've been horribly bad about update. Or even turning my computer on, for that matter.
I'm at the point these days where when I get home from school every day, I either start on my homework and read, or go to work then do homework after I get home. I usually don't go to bed 'til at least 12:30am these days. It's usually not so bad... Unlike Friday, when I had stayed up ThursdaynightFridaymorning working on the rough draft for my Composition 1 paper 'til about 3-ish. Even after that, I didn't go to bed 'til about 1- or 2-something last night 'cause I went to go see
Juno with Kaitlin (more about it later), and we watched videos on my iPod at my house for a while afterwards. And then I worked all day today. I am so tired...
I finished reading Stephenie Meyer's
Eclipse last Sunday evening. All I can say is: I can't wait 'til this fall! I read on
SM's website that she's working on the next sequel, and it should [maybe] be done by fall '08.
And also that they've officially announced who's going to play Edward in the movie version of
Twilight:
Robert Pattinson, the guy who played Cedric Diggory in
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Much better than the guy the author had in her head. In my opinion. (scroll down the page at the site I linked to for Meyer. she's put up pictures there)

(evidently, the only good picture I had the patience to find was an icon, but you get the idea)
I took WAY too long looking for dumb Pattinson pictures. I'm going to bed now.
I'll talk about
Juno later. I promise.

You know how I'd hardly ever be on NuTang 'cause I was busy with work and getting ready for school? Well it's gotten worse now because I'm actually
in school now, and I just started a new job (still at the library). I finally finished the training for my new position last week - I was coming in for just over 30/wk for two weeks for training. It was bleh. Especially when school started Wednesday. Last week was crazy, stressful, and now thankfully over. I'm glad I'm not really that busy all the time. I don't think I'd be able to handle it...
Another thing that's been keeping away from NuTang (besides school & work) has been Stephanie Meyer's
New Moon. I finally got it from the library (the request list was reeeeally long), and consumed it in three days. It took four days because I worked all day for two of those days. I just began reading
Eclipse today, and haven't gotten very far 'cause I got busy this afternoon.
Now that I've finished
New Moon, I'm not sure what all
Eclipse may hold in store. I'm thinking Bella will probably end up turning into a vampire in this one, but that's still an unsure assumption. Now those of you who've already read it [at least once] don't tell me anything!! I'll be done with it in a few days, and then we can go shrill in excitement and anticipation together. lol
I was looking up a song called
Dance, Dance by Andy Lopez feat. Tune Up! on YouTube 'cause a friend wanted me to hear it. It's one of those dance/techno/whatever-you-call-it songs that are just fun to bounce in the car to. So I browsed around and found some other ones in the genre and made a makeshift playlist with them. I'm listening to it now.
(You can, too!) For some reason, all the techno beats are making me tired.... Maybe I really am tired, and the droll of a constant beat is just making more sleepy? I dunno...
So far, I've been doing pretty good at keeping a couple of my "new year's goals". I haven't spent a dime all month, and I've been reading a lot more. I
did download a few songs last week... but at least I've gone down to only a few at a time instead of a huge batch when I get in a downloading mood. As far as purchasing a laptop and buying a car, well that's gonna take a lot longer. Mostly because I only get paid once a month instead of your typical bi-weekly method.
I'm glad I've got this far. =)
Well, until next time, have a great week NuTang!
Oh, and Heath Ledger died.
Heath Ledger died. It's crazy. And I was really looking forward to him being in many more movies. Mostly so I could watch him so many more times. ha
This winter hasn't been all that great.... =/
I'm just glad they were done filming "Batman". I've been looking forward to seeing that all winter.
