A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

Thursday, August 21, 2008 My mom found a baby snail on a flower she got from the farmer's market. I don't usually name things but I had this strange compulsion to call it Bert because she kept saying "should we let him go?" Random picture of flowers on the table. Ucky boonanas. :0 (You're the boonana king!) Uh.... this is just our front room/my mom's office/the main computer room. I was going to have you try and guess what's going on in this picture, but then I thought that most people would probably just say "wtf is going on in that picture?" so I decided against it. For future reference, it's a slightly albino pirate clown matador granny dinosaur who happens to have banana wings and is very rich. Also in case you didn't notice she's saying 'arghenblargh'. Is it blood or makeup? Nobody knows because she's a dinosaur! :0 Or maybe it's a he. I mean, no boobs... Okay. Slightly albino pirate clown matador transvestite dinosaur who happens to have banana wings, is very rich, and is saying 'arghenblargh'. I think that covers it. "Because plain ol' dinosaurs are boring!" ---Edit--- Added some pictures to my gallery. Nothing I hadn't posted in an entry before though, I think. Comment! November 1, 2006 I made some graphs because I'm bored. Newbie: My case: Not sure if that's accurate but I think it is. So there. Live with it. Comment! So there's the length of membership, kind of blogger, and bear attacks questions. (I seriously think this one would be good :D) And Nuttz's question, which I realized actually did make sense. At the time I was confused though. Just... one of those times where you don't get stuff. 1. Are you Asian in any way? 2 -15. [These could be your questions!] --- You guys wanna see what I've been "working" on? Left: First attempt Middle: Second attempt Right: What seems to be the best cup so far Yeah, gaze at the magnificence of my muffin costume models. They all look like crap, I know. I've got nothing to use as a reference point, and I haven't built anything in several years, give me a break. I know I shouldn't eavesdrop on Scruffy's conversations but it's kinda hard not to when he's standing right next to me. I don't find whatever he's saying particularly amusing in itself but the voices he does are... interesting. Entertaining. Yes, let's go with that. Voice-wise he can't compare to DC though. --- Come on guys! Give me your questions! (Is it just 'cause Nutang is being slow? Is that it?) --- Comment! (7) | Recommend! | Categories: Drawings [t] Okay.... what? Wednesday, January 10, 2007 I'm not really that into group projects. I'm (yeah, I admit it...) one of those people who actually likes it when everybody else does the work. I mean, I'll do my part, I just like it when people don't bother me about stuff. There's this guy in my current group who's like a total mess. He freaks out about projects.... and totally blames it on the group. I had him in my group before and he was horrible. He yelled at me for not doing anything and dumped the responsibility of making a costume on me even though I told him I couldn't do it. Now he's in my group again, and he's getting angry again and it's the whole thing all over again. Only with different group members. Thankfully the teacher approved my request to move after the project was done. I'm watching Monkeybone on Comedy Central... I've never seen it before and it's pretty interesting. The doctors are really funny. "WAIT!!! CATCH THAT DEAD MAN!!!" Ha.... well I guess you have to see it to understand that. I'm guessing this is a children's book... Note to self: Stay away from this book. Oh yeah and I almost forgot. Today during P.E. I was trying to do chinups (yes, TRYING... but I managed two) and I kinda fell off. Getting up. Okay, that's one... Tried to reach the bench below, it wasn't under the bar, and I wasn't tall enough to reach it or the ground... So I fell on the bench. I'm kidding about the blood though. I didn't bleed. I just bruised my hips and ribs. You'd think it would've been my stomach, but no.... Comment!
