Ciara
SOHH recently caught up with Ciara in Las Vegas during All Star Weekend to clear up rumors of her dating G-Unit rapper 50 Cent.
Rumors of a budding relationship between the two started when New York's Daily News reported that Ciara was spotted in LeFrak City hiding in the back seat of 50's car, trying not be seen by onlookers. One source even described the pair as "a new underground couple."

I was in LA getting ready for my video 'Like A Boy,' so that was impossible," Ciara told SOHH exclusively. "He's cool people. I got a lot of respect for him. We worked together on my album. We did a song called 'Can't Leave him Alone' and he's just an amazing person, a very hard working person and there's a lot of great things you can say about him, but we weren't in Lefrak City or wherever that was."
"Like A Boy" is the second single from Ciara's certified platinum CD, The Evolution.

Bobby Brown
R&B singer Bobby Brown was arrested and jailed in Massachusetts last night (February 25) for failing to make a court appearance and pay child support fines.
According to People, Brown was picked up outside his daughter's cheerleading competition at her high school. The 40-year-old crooner was reportedly cooperative despite being denied a request to attend the event by the arresting officers.
Brown owes money to his former girlfriend Kim Ward, who lives in Massachusetts and with whom he has two teenage children: LaPrincia and Bobby III.
In October, Brown paid $11,000 in delinquent child support after being threatened with arrest if he stepped back into Massachusetts. It is unknown how much Brown owes Ward at this point.
Brown, who was held overnight, will face a judge this afternoon (February 26) who will decide whether to charge the singer with contempt of a child support order. If the charge is criminal, the infamous vocalist could land in jail.
Brown has a history of missed child support payments, and was jailed in March 2004 for one day after missing several payments, which he subsequently paid.

50 Cent
50 Cent is reportedly taking steps to protect his fortune from the mother of his son, Marquise.
According to New York's Daily News, 50 recently filed papers in Family Court to help clarify child support arrangements paid to his child's mother. While 50 (born Curtis Jackson) has always provided financial support for his child, he and Marquise's mother, Shaniqua Tomkins, previously lacked an official arrangement. Friends told the Daily News the recent move was prompted by Tompkins' demanding displays of greed.
"It was just getting so out of hand. It was driven by greed. He felt it was necessary to get a court order making clear just what his responsibility is. He took matters into his own hands. It's usually the woman who files. But he wants to do the right thing," an unidentified friend of 50 told the Daily News. "50 has always provided for his kid. His son's mother is now making unreasonable demands, which seem to have no limits."
50 and Tompkins once lived together, but the couple parted ways five years ago. According to one friend, 50 purchased a home for Tompkins in Long Island "so Marquise could be in a good school district."
"He's paying a lot of child support. He takes [Marquise] on vacations. He just took him to L.A., where they saw Eminem together. He met Justin Timberlake and Timbaland in Miami. He took him to the NBA All-Star Game in Vegas. He sees his son very frequently. When he's on the road, he brings him out," 50's friend was quoted in the Daily News.
"Curtis puts his son's needs first. His son is well loved and taken care of. Anything else is a private family and legal matter," said Cindi Berger, spokeswoman for 50.
Sources are currently speculating that Tompkins may seek palimony. She recently hired upscale lawyer, Raoul Lionel Felder, who told the Daily News, "Ms. Tompkins is going to get more than fifty cents, I can tell you that."

Jay-Z - Press Conference
Jay-Z has reportedly sold his Rocawear clothing line to the Iconix Brand Group Inc for $204 million in cash.
According to Reuters, Iconix, the owner of brands such as Joe Boxer and Candie's, chose to acquire Rocawear to diversify its portfolio of brands and raise its 2007 earnings outlook. The company expects Rocawear to generate about $43 million in royalty revenue in the first 12 months under its fold.
As part of their agreement, Jay-Z (born Sean Carter), will continue to be chief creative officer of Rocawear and will also retain his stake in the operating company. Hov's partners, Alex Bize and Norton Cher, will continue to run the company and enter into a long-term license agreement with Iconix.
Also as part of the deal, Iconix will also enter into a separate joint venture with the Brooklyn bred rapper to establish a new brand management and licensing company to identify brands to be acquired or developed
Rocawear made headlines last year when the clothing line was accused of using dog fur on one of its jackets. The brand is also facing a trademark and copyright infringement suit filed by former WWE superstar Diamond Dallas Page.
Page claims Jay-Z illegally adopted his trademark hand gesture, the "Diamond Cutter," and sold Rocawear merchandise displaying the hand symbol.
