Did You Like Nelly Furtado Before She Started Messin' With Timbaland
Monday. 3.5.07 1:31 am
Timbaland is droppin' his solo cd Shock Value later this month. The first single "Give It To Me" featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake has a dope ass beat... no?
Nelly Furtado has the hottest part on the track. She has really come up in the past couple years. But were we feeling this bird before you she got a little of Tim's boom boom kat?
On another note, this track is all about bossin' up. Scott Storch hasn't taken too kindly to Timbaland's verse which is said to be a direct shot at him.
I got to be honest, I am very nervous about posting these downloads. I got them emailed to me to last night but with DJ Drama’s recent arrest for selling unauthorized music (allegedly) I don’t want anybody hauling me off to jail. Oh well I will just take my chances.
I got new music from one of Atlanta’s favorite young R&B sensations, Lloyd. His highly anticipated sophomore effort “Street Love” hits stores on March 13, 2007. I know he’s not a direct Hip-Hop artist but his you can tell by his music that Hip-Hop plays a big role in his life. I’m posting a few tracks for y’all to listen too. [SOHH Edit: I posted, you missed it] I know this kind of falls under SOHH Soulful’s thing, but what can I say, I’m multi-tasking.
Check them out, and share ya thoughts aiight. [SOHH Edit: Might stream later here or SOHH Soulful. Otherwise, be sure to check the album!]
Talk to y'all tomorrow hopefully..(biting my nails)

Akon: I am Not a Polygamist, Was a Publicity Stunt
Wednesday. 3.7.07 3:49 am
The folks from Vibe Magazine sent their new cover in. The issue hits stands March 20. Now that Akon is going "mainstream" with sick record sales, he is now denyingthat he ever supported polygamy.
"There was a big rumour about me having many wives. It started off as a joke and it got serious. And then I was just running with it to see how far it'd go. In a way, I was causing controversy, 'cause I knew certain people that wouldn't normally attend to me, that will make them go, 'What?' So, in a way, it was a publicity stunt."
In the upcoming issues of VIBE, Akon confesses that he really is not a polymagist. I don't know why he was lying about something like that, but then I think back to some of the interviews he did when he was talking about this subject. He didn't know much about it,and he made a comment about "ALL AFRICANS ARE POLYMAGIST" which I know for a fact is false. Akon, tries to represent Africa but he's a false interpretation of what Africa is all about if you want to learn about real African artist do the reasearch. Akon is kind of fake for going along with that bull.
