sleeping schedule

As many of you know, I've had problems with insomnia for years. Partially this is because I'm spastic and partially it's because I take medicines that make me get up at night. I've decided to implement a new sleeping system which has two components. One is, having a ritual before I go to bed. My ritual is having a cup of cocoa and watching T.V. (no computers allowed) for half an hour. This really seems to be helping me sleep. The second part I just started yesterday on recommendation from various friends of mine who have the same conditions I do. I'm not a morning person but yesterday I got up in the morning, worked for about three hours, and then went back to sleep for an hour and a half. Then, I woke up feeling very refreshed. It was like getting two mornings. I think I'm going to try this strategy again and see if it works as well today. Of course, if I'm not tired I won't take a nap everyday but it might help me do more in less time according to my friends.
