A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

I could be working at a much faster pace but I like taking my time. Just because. As I just informed Angie (though she has not responded...), I completed the one with her in it. I was thinking about posting that one to show you an example of the reward comic format and how I would place a person it it, but I figured it would be better to just wait until I hit $100 and then put them all up. If, by that time, there are more than two. Still accepting requests for comic character spots. :P [Remember, they are FULL COLOR and not that crappy stuff I usually draw. I finally figured out how to color right so they don't look completely horrible, and I will draw you for free as long as you aren't horribly complicated looking.] --- Second day as an office aid. The Attendance Office lady didn't remember me. X| She asked me "are you late?" when I went in to see if she had any tasks for me. I had to say "office aid" before she realized why I was there. Besides the weird fact that she can't remember who I am (it's probably because I vaguely resemble all the other asian girls on campus, I would suspect), I like being an office aid. It's easy work, and I don't have to think to do it. Mindless work is a nice change from the typical school stuff. (And I know that sounds strange, but I mean I can just think about whatever while I'm doing it) Saw Nameless drive to school today. I always feel so weirded out when I see my peers driving. I mean, it's been like what, three years now? but I still can't get used to it... Varsha and I also saw [whatever I call him here, the New Guy] drive away when we were walking home. His car is much less... new than Nameless's. Although I can't say I really care either way, when it comes to cars I mostly just mind if the inside is filthy and I have to ride in it. Varsha: oop Me: oop... de doop? Varsha: sure, why not? Varsha: but not betty boop Varsha: not that oop Me: oop....les and banoonoos Varsha: hahha Me: i always liked that part Varsha: hahaha Varsha: yeah Varsha: i think that's the funniest sounding part of that song Me: well, that or banonos Varsha: i think banoonoos sounds hilarious :-) Varsha: even more hilarious, i mean Me: it is quite hilarious indeed Me: but banonos... that sounds like no-no Me: like the bad fruit, y'ken? Me: "that's a banono, Jimmy!" Varsha: hahahhaahhah Varsha: yes, yes i see where you're comin' from :-) Me: i think i'm going to have to save this conversation 5 Comments. No, not the class, it's just that the teacher's really arbitrary. When we present it this Friday, we have to read off our own notes (not the paper itself) and, I quote, "Dress up nicely, like you're going in for a $100,000 job interview." Sometimes, he annoys the mess out of it. » middaymoon on 2009-01-07 11:44:25 Not looking Asian is good. » Nuttz on 2009-01-08 12:51:17 lol i can now blame my parents for not desensitizing me from horror films... i was never allowed to watch them when i was little. yeah that is a plus i wont over eat all the junk food lol » Ruby-in-slippers on 2009-01-08 04:54:22 And it is effective?
