A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Recommended by 15 Members 32 Comments. This needs to go with my posts to people we don't like... haha. » ikimashokie on 2008-08-16 09:26:51 LOL! Good one Randy! » Nuttz on 2008-08-16 10:13:04 I should do this to the person who "hacked" my other computer. :3 As for the movie marathon, it's going to be a mix of the older dubbed versions I suppose and the newer ones you see commercials of. (Example: Seven Swords, Golden Army, House of Flying Daggers.) So.. if I am to dress up for the marathon.. wear a ninja costume (mask included) or a martial artist costume (and my black belt in Taek Won Do)? » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-16 11:47:49 hahaha I love this! » AmbyrJayde on 2008-08-17 12:25:00 o.o Not normally, dressing up is just.. a possibility. Like.. dressing up for movie premieres. I almost dressed for "The Dark Knight" and my friends and I plan on doing so for the "Dragonball Z" movie. We're temporarily dying our hair and apply quite a bit of hair products. Loads of fun, :D There are sometimes ninjas, not normally. They tend to attack the kung fu master like lemmings and get beaten to a pulp. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 12:40:50 Heh, I'm not that much of a fan but a few of my friends are. I understand why you wouldn't like it, it's rather cookie-cutter in my opinion. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 01:01:28 Thanks, I know that now. :] I very much prefer the older DBZ episodes as the stories are more unique. I used to have a large circular pillow that I threw and called my Destructo-Disk. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 01:23:55 It seemed to me they recycled the fighting and story line quite a bit. When one of the main characters died for the first time, gasp. Oh no. But towards the end, it turned into.. Oh, no worries they can just gather the dragon balls and wish the person back. Sometimes there would be a catch, "We can only wish them back once." "Oh.. great." So I think.. after Goku has died a number of times.. Why not just make him immortal then? If he's going to put himself on the line, why not? Heh, I always thought of what my wishes would be. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 01:44:49 Of course, I always knew better to ask for more wishes first. It was strange when like.. Goku's son Gohan was married. My favourite idea from the DBZ series is I think it's called the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Where they trained for one year while it was a month or so in real time. I always wanted to have one but.. I think a completely blank universe would be rather uncomfortable. And in addition, once you go in you can't come out until the year is over. Scary. I'd get rather lonely. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 02:07:22 Whoaho, someone went to Jupiter? I liked the capsule carrying cases that carry big things such as houses or space ship. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 02:19:42 RE: Awww. » middaymoon on 2008-08-17 09:15:13 haha nice » LostSoul13 on 2008-08-17 02:17:36 Hmm, I think that was the space ship Goku was training in. He was in there for like 15 episodes straight and it sorta made it boring to watch but it's worth it when he finishes and is so much more powerful. The ship had like a.. gravity control system and that's what he used. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 02:29:51 Heh, you are quite right. The vocals in the song are quite broken. I have heard a number of covers of the song that rectify this problem. The Kung Fu Movie Marathon is on, by the way. It's quite interesting how the movies are directed. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 06:40:53 Ah, I don't prefer the covers either. It seems to me that the original version has a certain bounce to it that the covers don't seem to have. It is true that the stories in the Kung Fu movies don't exist in a world of reality. I appreciate their stories mainly. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 07:06:22 Well right now I'm watching Hero. But I missed the beginning of the marathon and only saw Fists of Fury up to now. I'm enjoying Hero quite a bit. It's more than just fighting and but a bit of psychology as well. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 07:16:22 Ah, I've never seen them until today. Fists of Fury is nice but I very much prefer Hero now. Hrm, I want a Star Wars marathon day too. :| » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 07:27:13 Ah, honestly I know very little about Star Trek. From the little I have seen, I didn't find it that entertaining. What do you like about it? » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 07:35:45 Ah, my dad was the Star Gate type. Heh. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 07:58:19 Ah, I watched Xena and Hercules as well. Now Kung Fu Hustle is showing on the marathon. Have you seen that? It's so much more comedic than the usual movies. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 08:07:57 o.o .. frog guy? » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 08:17:13 hahaha so funny....... i dont know where "rents" came from lol its just confusing because its my mom and my stepdad so i dont want to call him my parent so its easier to say rent. :p » Ruby-in-slippers on 2008-08-17 08:26:53 Hahah I only have a few webcomics and Pandora to stave off the boredom. » middaymoon on 2008-08-17 08:41:52 haha maybe i never thought about that hmm that would be an interesting survey to do. » Ruby-in-slippers on 2008-08-17 08:44:31 Oho, I think he does have a frog-like technique. He lunges at people making him body torpedo-like. Alright, he could actually exist. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 08:47:26 Ah, I watched Xena and Hercules as well. Now Kung Fu Hustle is showing on the marathon. Have you seen that? It's so much more comedic than the usual movies. » yourcupoftea on 2008-08-17 09:13:48 Since when did nutang become such a scary, cliquey place? » Bartholomew on 2008-08-22 05:25:02 We should go back and tag all of our angry entries "READ THIS, NOOBS" or something. » ikimashokie on 2008-08-25 10:26:13 LMAO!!! » lyndeep on 2008-08-27 03:10:27 I love how you always put more detail into yourself than anyone else! I mean...the other people could always be the same person but we'll always know which one is you =0) » etheracide on 2008-08-31 01:47:19 Painful grating, indeed. I hate graters... They're a pain to clean. » Ajibalaji89 on 2008-09-03 12:06:01 Now that's something like it! It only reserve, no more alprazolam drug It seems to me, you are mistaken cheap phentermine Here and so too happens:) generic tramadol It is excellent idea buy ativan I consider, what is it ?rror. generic adipex cb4bfe » Walker (209.97.203.60) on 2010-09-04 03:45:08
