A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

Thursday, February 21, 2008 Is all I have left in my checking account now. I just ordered The Art of Falling Apart from Rasputin. It was... majorly expensive once they tacked all the extra stuff on. :/ Stupid backordered stuff. Plus shipping... if they just had it in the store I would've gone there and bought it. Save me a couple of bucks... Lucy's birthday is today... Angie and I went to her house and hung out a bit. It was... quiet. We didn't do much... To ease off the awkward silence we tried to play Cranium, but failed miserably. There were no instructions and none of us knew how to play... Listening to Jonathan Ian now. Normally I don't like acoustic but this is alright... Sweet, sweet cheap music! -Just bought Jonathan Ian II- Amusing lyrics... Wayne Gacey Was A Clown What is it with clowns That just makes you wanna just go nuts They're always running around playing with balloons I hate balloons I hate those clowns With their stupid red nose I've never seen a clown with a blue nose I guess it's gotta be red because they're drunk all the time you damn wino But that makes them a little bit funnier at parties when dealing with children Wayne Gacey was a clown Do I really need to say anything else? John Wayne Gacey was a clown Would you like a Balloon Nope, no thank you. I don't want a balloon Do you want a balloon animal? No, I hate clowns 6 Comments. THE Rasputin? Apparently, he was born on my birthday. What's the book about, exactly? Vaguely? » middaymoon on 2008-02-21 09:40:37 balloon animals are awesome! » Art4TheHomeless on 2008-02-21 09:51:33 Oh. OH...this is music. I thought this was books. By the way, neither link works. » middaymoon on 2008-02-21 10:06:10 ha, you sometimes complain that you have no life? well, I've long since surpassed you in the 100 pages thing. it appears I either have a lot more boring shit to talk about or I have even less of a life than you =P re: yep, really. it did seem kind of odd, which is why I looked into it. I even checked my other two, less used accounts. not surprisingly I think the most comments I had on either of those was 8. my double digit comment entry had 14. » LostSoul13 on 2008-02-21 10:25:33 Cranium is the best party game..you should really learn how to play it! » lazypuppy on 2008-02-21 11:47:05 Oh Randy You could just do it like the rest of us and download tunes. It would save you the pain of having an empty checkings... » The-Muffin-Man on 2008-02-22 12:42:52
