A few words
"When we describe the Moon as dead, we are describing the deadness in ourselves. When we find space so hideously void, we are describing our own unbearable emptiness." ~ D.H. Lawrence "Is the meaning of life defined by its duration? Or does life have a purpose so large that it doesn't have to be prolonged at any cost to preserve its meaning?" "Living is not good, but living well. The wise man, therefore, lives as well as he should, not as long as he can... He will always think of life in terms of quality not quantity... Dying early or late is of no relevance, dying well or ill is... even if it is true that while there is life there is hope, life is not to be bought at any cost." ~ Seneca "People will tell you nothing matters, the whole world's about to end soon anyway. Those people are looking at life the wrong way. I mean, things don't need to last forever to be perfect." ~ Daydream Nation "All Bette's stories have happy endings. That's because she knows where to stop. She's realized the real problem with stories-- if you keep them going long enough, they always end in death." ~ The Sandman: Preludes & Nocturnes "The road now stretched across open country, and it occurred to me - not by way of protest, not as a symbol, or anything like that, but merely as a novel experience - that since I had disregarded all laws of humanity, I might as well disregard the rules of traffic. So I crossed to the left side of the highway and checked the feeling, and the feeling was good. It was a pleasant diaphragmal melting, with elements of diffused tactility, all this enhanced by the thought that nothing could be nearer to the elimination of basic physical laws than deliberately driving on the wrong site of the road." ~ Vladimir Nabokov, Lolita "It is easier to forgive an enemy than to forgive a friend." ~ William Blake Think about it Musicalities! Kill that boredom!

I have some heartbreaking news to... break to you. I'm leaving Nutang. Things just aren't working out for me here, and I've decided that I no longer need to have blogging as part of my life. So I'm closing my account and never coming back again. Hopefully you didn't believe any of that, since it was complete and total crap. I'm not leaving Nutang, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Boy though, would it be funny to see your faces if you thought I was. Ah...... Okay, well, I had a fairly nice birthday. I guess you could see it as depressing since Angie forgot it was my birthday and Lucy didn't say anything. ...But.... I got candy from two of my classes, some random people said happy birthday to me, and I have lots of balloons now. :P I guess that the fun stuff that happened today outweighs the fact that my "main" friends didn't really... do anything. I posted a link to this before, but here it is again. :P Some pictures. I woke up, went out of my room to talk to my mom, went back in... and this was there. She got me a giant balloon and the ultra big sized box of Goldfish. :P I left for school, had a fairly nice time, and came home. More balloons, and a present on the table. M&M wrapping paper. But it seems more... learning themed. My ballons. And they even came with some numbered ones. I slid off the wrapping paper (tearing it seemed too... chaotic) and..... "WOW a waffle/sandwich maker! Just what I've ALWAYS wanted!" Nah, I didn't say that. If I had it would've been dripping with sarcasm. Nice gift though. When I leave for wherever I'm going to live in the future, I'm takin' it! :P [If you're wondering what kind of present that is, well, what can I say? Appliances are pretty useful. Though I can't say I wouldn't have enjoyed getting The Sims 2 Nightlife or a laptop...] Speaking of sarcasm, a conversation I had with Sophia yesterday... Sophia: You should listen to Skillet! Me: Hey, yeah, you know, I just HAPPEN to have this band I've never heard of on my iPod! Sophia: Wow really? Cool! Me: I was being sarcastic. Sophia: Huh? I couldn't tell. Me: Here, let me try again. *Excessive hand gestures* I just HAPPEN to have this band I've NEVER heard of on my iPod! Sophia: Yeah, yeah, well the hand gestures! It seems more obvious now! Me: *Laughing* Bill the Demon 3 Comments. hmm, your room is very green ... what does the happy bunny poster say? I'm glad you like balloons; haha, if someone got me even one balloon, I'd leave it in a corner till it got deflatetd and then ... I dunno, dispose of it? =P Or I'd "accidentally" pop it. re: I could use the bathroom, but at that time of morning, my sister was in and out using it to get ready for school; and the only closet that we have that's not in a room that'll fit me, I have all my stuff stuffed into it. besides, these walls and doors are not sound proof so they'd still hear me. oh well. happy birthday btw =] » LostSoul13 on 2007-09-20 09:20:10 happy birthday! i seriously suggest, as concerts go, austin city limits next year. people from all over the world go. its killer. » bananaface on 2007-09-21 05:54:47 I was waiting for you to notice Since we're on the subject, can you send me Mad World? I can't find out who it's by, since there are a bajillion versions. :D Happy Belated. » middaymoon on 2007-09-21 06:47:38
