It's a Damn Shame: Cash 4 Clunkers program requires Auto dealers to destroy usable cars

Just found out about this on Hot Air.com I think its crazy for them to destroy usable cars. How about they reconstruct those cars or donate the parts to junk yards. Now, I know it costs a lot of money to get a new engine put in your car, and donate those parts who help people who still have those cars. The program definitely has some flaws, and I think they should think of something more useful to do with those cars.
