Let me start this with, I am very grumpy today. Because someone mom gave an extra $20 to and told that it would cover the next time he mowed our yard, has decided to go swimming over keeping with what he promised. 3 days in a row. I am very mad. When I owe him, I get to it asap. Obviously I’m not important.

Now to my mom: She’s doing well. She’ll probably be home tomorrow hopefully. She said that the doctor told her she’s doing better than expected. She’s in a little pain, but they’re giving her pain medicine.

So mom is now at the hospital. I’m gunna call her at 1 to see how she is feeling. My friend that was going to stay last night so he could ride with me today never showed up. Sad thing is, I saw him yesterday and he said that he was still going to come over. I had no problems getting home, though. Nor did I have a problem staying awake. I drank 32oz’s of cappuccino. When Aubree and I got home, she had no problem going to sleep. It took me a few minutes, but I passed out too.

Yesterday I had to go shopping. Well, I enjoyed getting out of the house so it was cool. First I went to goodwill looking for a coffee maker, but they didn’t have any. So I picked up this elmo toy for Aubree that was $2 and I got me 3 new books. 2 were John Grisham books. I can’t remember the author name of the other one. I’m already half way through one of the books. I’ll probably finish it today.

Tomorrow’s the day mom has her back surgery. And the long drive early in the morning. I’m still nervous.

Well, our landlord came and went yesterday. He fixed our faucets’ cold water handle so now it will turn off all the way. And I noticed something interesting in the process, the water starting to flood our bathroom has started to recede. The reason why it would not turn completely off is because their was a loose screw inside the hole in the wall behind that handle there that was keeping it from turning all the way. It is fixed, though and only took about 2-2 ½ hours of him coming and going. I am so thankful it is done.

I’m a bit mad. Mom got ahold of the landlord and instead of telling him to wait until about 6 [when she’d be home] she proudly announced he’d be here this morning so she won’t have to deal with him. It doesn’t matter to her that I told her I have a lot to do today so it would be VERY inconvenient to have him here while I was trying to get some work done. All she cares about is avoiding him because she doesn’t like him. It must be nice to only care about herself and what she wants.

I have reached a point where I wish I could go on vacation for a week or so. I wish I could drop everything and just go for a trip. Forget about all my website stuff, take a break from all the blogging I do. I can’t though. Unfortunately what I do that makes me money doesn’t include vacation days, I don’t get any paid leave. So I would have one week of no income coming in. That’s okay, though. I love the stuff I do for my boss and my weblogs. Not everyone can say that about their job.
