Summer's soon drawing to a close. It's wierd, it always seemed like I had one reason or another to not be excited about college, haha. To look back on it all though, things have and are reallly working out. I guess I'm just not terribly excited about the whole change of scenery yet. I move in on Friday, I'll be down the hall/roomies with 2 of the best buds I've ever had, and that's excellent. I'll be preserving an incredibly meaningful relationship with the amazingly beautiful Miss George, which is just *eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!* (haha). But I'll be leaving all this... the familiarity, the comfort, the back roads to drive on and the Cocoa Grill, haha, the graveyard to walk in and the Milton Hershey roads to spend those cool nights on... I have alot of memories here that I look back on so fondly, and it's been amazing even just to relive them over and over at stop signs, in the rain, while looking at pictures, and all that. In another 5 days, I'll be missing alot of those cues in a new place completely strange to me. I guess it's all just little stuff buggin' me out though.

On the other hand, it's all theoretically very exciting. I'm going to be forging the rest of my life in these next four years (eight if I get into medical school *crosses fingers*). I'll be meeting a bunch of (hopefully) awesome people, throwing a bunch of frisbee, getting huge, haha, and learning the Greyhound route to Pittsburgh by heart (I can't believe it!). In four years I'll be learning so incredibly much and I'll be so much more intelligent and capable than I am, sitting in my PJs on my computer at 2:30 in the afternoon, haha. This is freakin' crazy stuff. I know what I want in life and I'm going for it... it rocks().

...Mixed feelings, the whole lot of it, haha. I'm already homesick, but it's not for my house and all that. I think it's all stuff that I'll be able to hold on to though. So if you ask me how I'm doing and I say "I'm all right," keep in mind that I'm actually doing extremely well - I'm very very happy... just a little apprehensive and anxious for what's to come.

But hey, one step at a time right?
