I don't think you should base any important life decisions on a girl who doesn't know what she wants and isn't being particularly nice or respectful to you right now. I do think you should find a job you want that makes you happy. Do you want to work in Virginia? If no, keep looking (if that's feasible). If yes, go! But don't use a girl to make your decision.

Personally, I think you should wait out the LA job. Change in scenery, new people, new experiences... And if you don't get it, something else will come along, or you can to Virginia because that's your only option.

But that's just me.
