dear readers,
what does it mean to be a donor? i was watching a episode of grey's anatomy and a patient, who's family member agreed to him being a donor, became a vegetable. So an organ harvest took place. did you know you being a donor covers so many grounds? so many things to donate... Organs. Tissue. Eyeball (or retina..not sure) And so forth. when its happen the appropriate collectors all wait with their icebox ready. This is all from the tv show so of course details are lacking.
i am not a donor.
some ppl dont give it a second thought and automatically become a donor. They figure they no longer need so why not save a life.
why am i not a donor again?

It takes guts to be a donor. I could never, even though the cause would be one worthy of the risk. I guess I'm a pussy. =)

I'd be a donor once I'm dead. My soul'll be somewhere else, and the words I left behind.. will be just that, left behind. My body, the temple'll go back to the earth, and the organs.. I think they'd be better used helping someone in need than used as fert-ay-lyzer ( i can't spell. )

I am a donor. I also give blood when I get the opportunity. I don't see why not. I don't think it takes guts to be a donor. If I was dead, I don't think I would care. I would be such a ballsy corpse. I would jump out of airplanes without a parachute, deeep-sea dive without an airtank, and travel across miles of burning coals. I wouldn't feel a thing.

i am a donor but only after some hard coaching... it wasn't a relgious or moral thing it was more of a phobia of someone cutting me up. Because what if I am dead and can still feel it??
