The new layout is up and running! It features Roselyn Sanchez and the PSD is from
PSDelightful. There are some brushes from Deviant Art and I can't find the source of the other brushes. Sorry. The layout was originally for a new personal blog that I was going to make today but then it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. It works for nutang, though.
During lunch, Jerlyn was sort of pretending to be a bird and started singing "I'm Like a Bird" by Nelly Furtado. But then she always goes "I always fly away" instead of "I only", so I corrected her and sang it too. And she was like "Why aren't you in choir? You don't suck!" I haven't done choir since the 4th or 5th grade. I don't really remember much from it. But I was considering entering our high school idol thing but I never did. I don't think that I'm that good of a singer though. So many of the songs that I would even consider singing contains at least one note that I can't hit. Maybe I'll try out next year.
I'm sure the very few people who read my last actual entry is wondering what happened with Kenneth and I. Well... Nothing. Because I rushed out of the classroom when the bell rang and tried to avoid Sam. It was easier today because we were taking a test and she's usually slower than everyone else. Kenneth sits diagonally from me but I didn't mention it. I don't know if he knows that Sam told me that he lost the rock-paper-scissors bet, though. But before our math tests were passed out, Sam was whispering his name somewhat loudly but Kenneth pretended not to hear. I didn't look at her at all during class but she reminded him about it a few times.
But anyways. I stop by my locker everyday after school to get my French book so I can't go straight to the front of the school. And it took me longer today because I had to put my PE clothes in my backpack because we don't have school tomorrow. Luckily for me, my mom was already there to pick me up when I called her. So I walked towards the front of the school but then Sam ran up to me and was like "Why are you walking so fast? You have to hold hands with him!" I told her that my mom was here (which was true) and that I had to hurry (not that much but she didn't know). And yea. That's what happened with Kenneth.
So after school, my mom had to go to Chinatown to get a facial (she goes once every month) and I was going to get my hair cut so both my brother and I accompanied her. I ended up not getting my hair cut because by the time that my mom was finished with her facial, the salons within walkable distance were all closed. Oh well. I was supposed to get my hair cut in the middle of February but that never happened. My mom said tomorrow so I have my fingers crossed because I really want to get my hair cut. There are a lot of split ends and I just feel like I need shorter hair right now.
And tomorrow (Friday), we don't have school because it's the end of the quarter and all the teachers have to go to a meeting. My mom's supposed to wake me up at 9am (it's 2:10AM right now) and then I'm planning on ice skating at Dublin Iceland from 10-11:30 (because that's the public session). After that, we'll be going to Milpitas because I have ice skating lessons from 5:15-6:15. And after that, we're going to Hercules so that my mom can drop off something for a customer and to show JJ (family friend) my dog, Waffle.

Wow that Sanchez girl can actually use the line "dont you wish your girlfriend were hot like me" and get away with it. I wish I looked like that!!!
You should join the choir for the heck of it. You need an elective right? Sometimes, if the teacher is really good, you will learn how to use your voice better. You may enjoy it. :)

AWwwww, Waffle is the cutest name for a dog ever!!
And kKAma is right, your teacher can condition your voice so that you can hit higher notes than before.
I hope everything works out with Kenneth. I think maybe you need to tell your friend that she's better shut her trap (nicely of course) because you don't want to be so forceful, and just let it happen naturally. I'm sure she has the best of intentions so maybe if she just knew that you were really nervous about it then she would be a little bit more subtle.

If you practice everyday you'll be better sooner than you think. But like they said, music teachers can help your voice get better faster.
