Yesterday sucked. I went to theory and made the *stupidest* mistake ever... called a staff line a ledger line... >.< i was tired, and i blurted out the first thing that came to my mind... i wanted to die...
and anthropology was interesting. it should be a good class if the ppl will just shut up.. there's more students in that class than there are students at ARGS. and the teacher's from India, i think... i could barely understand her, and she wasn't really talking into the microphone.
but my textbook has an interesting thing about "white man got the ball..." it's a culture thing. *feels edumacated* hehe
yeah, it's gonna be a cool class.
after that, one of my new friends i met at orientation showed up, and i got his screen name. ^^ i was like "yaaaay!!"
and i saw more ppl from args... they evr'whar!
i missed the bus *again* (drat that schedule) and had sushi in the cafeteria. it's expensive but it's good stuff!!! mmmmmm *wants more* i think it's gonna be a daily thing. *nod* i'm glad caustin pointed it out to me a few days ago... i'd have been wandering around hungry.
and i'ma apply at the computer store in the commons.. they're hiring now, and i have the feeling that i'm going to need a job soon.
but then i got to the apartment (it's more home than the house in midlothian's been lately..) and spent a peaceful afternoon reading my anthropology chapter.. and the roomie came home and she called her mom and we went shopping! ^^ got incense at pier 1. it smells nice. tho i got an allergic reaction to the store and my face broke out really grossly very shortly therafter. bleh.
but i got home.. and my roomie showed me this sweet movie called Boondock Saints. in the middle of it, my mom calls and asks if i can help her with her a/c.... so i try, and she gets it semi-working, and then she spills her guts to me about my dad... called my dad and talked to him after i hung up with her and he started doing the same thing... even tho they both promised when i was in the hospital that they'd stop doing that.
god, my parents are total assholes... using their own daughter as a therapist.
that's why i moved to this place in the firstplace... even tho it's in a scary neighborhood where there are murders and gang rapes and such.
so yeah, yesterday sucked worse than sucking. just that last part made it a horrible day.
