i thought that hurricane sandy was going to cause all of today to be extremely rainy. right now, it's not rainy or windy out. yesterday was another story.

we had a small leak in our closet. apparently the exhaust vent from the laundry room leaked, and it just so happened to do so in a manner that caused water to go right into our closet.

lame.

we have otherwise not lost power at all.

how did everyone else in the east do?

Obviously I don't live in the East, but I heard there were around a million power outages in New Hampshire, and a ton in New Jersey as well.

Apparently Sandy downgraded into a massive/monster/freak storm just before hitting land..

I live too far east to be affected but I am fine even with all the torrential rain that I'm getting here every evening.

Before I got baptized, I studied the Bible a long time, and I had to make a decision to give my life up. To die in pretty much every way but physically (at least for now.) Sounds weird, but the point is, that is when I started changing. When I repented.

But it's just more convenient to use that date. -shrug-

As an East Coaster, I report that recovery in my area continues. My family, friends and I have been very fortunate to have come out unscathed, unlike many others in our city. Except for a little power outage for a few, we're all okay. =)
