had the most tiring afternoon in orchard today. shopping for a gift for genesis's 1st birthday. in the end i bought a fisherprice toy. like one of those wheelburrow, with cubes, to train her motor skills and for her to pull along when she learns how to walk. sorry baby, the barney stuff just wasnt as interesting.

i read pam's blog and i sense a sort of familarity in what she wrote. often i have felt the same way, un noticed, un appreciated, unwanted & alone.

but i guess that's part and parcel of life man, people gain new friends and they slowly discard you, because they have more interesting topics to talk about with their new found friend.

am i just a spare tyre in your car boot?

occasionally, you will open your boot and check if the spare has punctured, you spend no more than 1 minute with the tyre.

unless your current tyre suddenly punctured on a bumpy road, then you hurry and come looking for the spare. but by then the spare has already become mouldy and air is slowly leaking from it.

are bfs and gfs the sole cause of the problem?

actually i would think so, one by one my friends have left me to be with their partner. it deeply saddens me that i am no longer in their league. not even an hour of their time is left for me anymore.

they have to check on their partner's schedule, they have to meet their partner for dinner, they can't meet you unless their partner has something urgent to attend to the last minute.

the more absurd ones, they even have to seek their partner's permission. do i look like i will kidnap you and store you in the shopping centre's storeroom and thus making you unable to meet your partner after? the even better ones will meet you and then while you are talking away, he/she will start exchanging sms-es with their partner. am i that miserable to be with?
