Anger...
Acting out in anger and haste is never the answer... this little story helps to explain why...

Once there was a little boy who had a bad temper.
His father gave him a bag of nails, and told him that everytime that he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day, the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.
Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered that it was easier to hold his temper  than drive the nails into the fence.

Finally, the day came when the boy did not lose his temper at all.
He told his father, and the father suggested, that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to control his temper. The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.

The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.

He said "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man, and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there."

are we often in the same stituation as this boy?

blabbering out words of anger that hurt others?

think twice, even trice, before you speak, you might leave a wound in someone's heart that may never heal.

i have decided i must live a new life, a new lifestyle! some resolutions i have decided to make.

- work, work, and work very hard! save money and fulfil one of my dream to own my own flat.

- spend $0 buying stuff for others, for people who dont appreciate it

- wash my hands clean. (like ceaser did) yes, au revoir to you

- learn something new. maybe html!

- spend my time doing more meaningful things, like clicking on the digital charities on the left to help accumulate more donations. I am sure those orphans and people in the 3rd world countries will appreciate my time spent better. :) and i will feel happier.
