hi peeps!

sorry for not really updating for my blog for the last few days. I was quite busy trying to finish up my work. now that i am almost 1/2 done, i am more the less relieved. :D

Did anyone watch the National Kidney Foundation show on the tube just now? To all the kids that are suffering from illnesses, i give you my heart, i wish i can do something else (rather than to call the hotline) to help you. If i could donate money directly to you, i definately will do that.

why would a charity show give cash prizes to encourage people to donate? wouldn't it mean that the money that those kind folks are donating goes to the cash prize? there are rich people around who don't give a damn about that money, but what about a family who is not well to do, and who wants to help, calls and donates $5 and it goes to part of a cash prize, that goes to a rich man who donates the same $5?

are singaporeans that stingy or materialistic that you have to use prizes of winning cash, condominiums & a car to lure them to donate money? thats not the true spirit of giving. they give because they want something in return. is that logically right?

i am sorry to say that our local artistes have turned into our country's own artistes cum stuntmans. look at all the stunts they are doing.. eating hot charcoal, holding burning pots, is that all really necessary? to me its just like a circus, they perform, people give money.

i don't know about this man, seems like its going a little overboard. I'd love to donate directly to the kids. or maying buying food, toys or clothes for them. I'm not targeting this against anyone, its just my personal thought about it and why i think many things does not justify to it, so don't sue me for it!! :)

about the dreamers, the movie. it seems quite a bizzare movie to me, because the male and female lead who happens to be twins. share the same bed, sleep together, do everything else together. (they are adults, mind you) and even when the female lead was sort of dating the guy whom she and her brother met, she still has this weird love for her twin brother. it is a movie set in the sixties, about some student revolution thingy. well.. its not that bad. i love the antique-y colours of the set. and managed to catch a few words of french in the movie.

you know my niece genesis, clings to me as if she was rock climbing on the everest? hhehe. maybe because she thinks i am a person who always buys her biscuits and bring her downstairs for a walk. it became so habitual that she was sitting on the chair, i carried her up and she started waving bye bye to everyone.

but i can ensure you if i bring her downstairs for 30 mins everyday, i will have arms that look like that , a big chest and 6 packs if i am lucky.

au revior! A bientot! got to go study now
