heya! i am back!
going to the wedding sure brought back lots of memories for me. thats becoz my cousin, andrew and me were very close when we are young. the reason was simple. both of us were the only child of our families.

his parents will bring him down at least 2 times a year to singapore to buy toys for him! he-man, transformers. starwars, atari... you name it, he has them all and keeps them till this day. i used to wish my auntie was my mom, i will be so happy! my mom doesn't buy me toys. so i will wait for andrew and his parents to come down and they will buy me a barbie for my xmas pressie.

we do almost everything together when we were young. everything has to be bought in pairs, if not we will fight over it. we've even got our own mickey mouse caps & a superman tee with a cape.

i still remembered our moms went shopping at the K K market, buying cloth to make dresses. they bought us a bag of cherries and we finished the whole lot. must be at least 1kg worth. and we threw the cherry seeds down on the soil of K K market. so if you see a cherry tree there, thats probably our doing.

then we went down to different floors of my flat. knocked on the doors and ran away! we called random numbers on the telephone and hung up when people answered them.

we will fight during dinner time, exchanging mushrooms and chicken meat, then i will be laughing my head off cos he cant take chilli.

i will be spending my holidays in malaysia, in their house. playing with HE-man and once, we sneaked out of the house. andrew was riding his bicycle and i sat behind. i lost my balance and fell off the bicycle and i still held on to it! in the end i had like 4 huge patches on my knees. i went home crying and got scolded by my mom, and he was scolded for sneaking me out.

that night we were talking about this at dinner time. and min, andrew's wife was laughing away.

memories sure are good things to keep and it should be stored carefully till the day i die. keeping memories for our children, telling them of how we used to be.
