"It doesn't kill you, it's not a one-way ticket to a lonely life. It might break your heart, but the physical risk is low. You might feel so bad that you wanna die but if you died you would never know, that it didn't kill you. Soon you would've felt better." -Fastball
Comfort
Wednesday. 4.23.08 9:55 am
I cannot wait for the semester to be over. I'm going to curl up in my fuzzy blanket for three days. No, it's not a 'blankie' from my childhood, but it's definitely a comfort zone. ...or at least somewhere between a comfort zone and a happy place.

Coffee is my other happy place. I have a favorite coffee shop, and sometimes -sometimes- I fall in love with the people who hang about here. I should make a disclaimer or something that I'm stereotyping these people, but I also think stereotyping has become a fact of life and that everyone does it whether they admit it or not, and whether they realize it or not.

I just spent an hour and a half reading papers on alternate energy. Alternate energy, like recycling makes me giddy. (I should find a way to do it as a profession.) The papers varied with respect to interesting topics, like how thermal energy was used as far back as 1904, and how in '70s companies did research on alt. energies but gave up, and the political ramifications of moving to alt. energies were something I didn't even think about.

I so want to stop studying and start reading more papers on alt. energies. Weird, huh?

Then you should have taken the class, you would then hate Alt Energies. I have the book for you, after the semester is over. Though I would like it back, so I guess I should give it to you saturday, and get it back at robot galaxy.

Heh, blankies... The one I had ripped apart and lost its fluff so I took to calling it "blankie rag." :P It looked like something somebody found in a garbage can and washed. X|

I guess you could say I'm pro-Alternate-Energy, since that seems to be the thing these days.
