Not really my thing, nostalgia. Once in a while, I like to wallow a little bit in a good memory or two, but prolonged wallowing will get on my nerves.

The most frequent nostalgic memories I have involve high school which I'm sure is common. When thinking of high school life, it's only natural to wonder about the people. I always want to know where they are now, if they've changed and/or grown up, and what they've chosen to do with their lives.

But when the they grow up to be like this:



(six time medalist, world famous) ...it makes you feel small, kind of like I'll never change the world, let alone do anything memorable or noteworthy. I had history class with this guy for three years.

Maybe it's a small world after all.

I went to high school with the bassist from Escape the Fate ... I only had once class with him though. it was a bit weird seeing him on TV. that's kinda cool you went to school with Michael Phelps. . . I enjoyed watching him in the Olympics.
