SO I found out on Friday that I have an infection in my gallbladder and that after the infection is under control, that I get to have surgery. I have gallstones. I have never looked forward to a surgery more! I was in terrible pain and to an extent I still am. I am weak and can't stay out for long periods of time...it sucks. I am also on a liquid diet...and I am so sick of soup already! All will be better when I have the surgery. I am on antibiotics for 10 days (currently on day 4) and then all is a go for surgery.

I had my gallbladder removed last Feb and I was so happy after wards. The surgery is an out-patient thing, or at least mine was. You will be sore for about 2-3 days but after that it's not so bad. Gosh, thinking about it brings bad some bad memories, lol. Good Luck!!!

I had a friend who had gallstones. He had to just wait for them to pass, though. He was in pain for a week or two before they passed. Good luck with the surgery.
