I was working with Sarah, one of the managers, and Shallena, one of my cousins. Opening doesn't seem as hard as I thought it would be. The hardest part is checking the balance of the cash drawer. Basically, I got my uniform and performed a regular day at work. The things I did particularly wrong today was dropped a tray of bread on the floor and messed up a call-in order. Other than that, I did a fairly good job. At the Canton Subway, there's a basement to put coats. That way, they don't stink of Subway. Also, this Subway gives out a 6-inch sub to every worker on each shift, no matter what hours they work! The employee also gets all the soda they can drink and a break to eat their sub. When I got done with the day's work, Vicky told me that Onyhka, a girl I work with at the Troy Subway, called to see if I could work from 3:00PM to 8:00PM for her. In almost any other case, I would have filled in for Onyhka. However, I was exhausted so I had to call and leave a message for her with the bad news. I don't work tomorrow so I decided I was going to go to Matt's for the day, but Vicky said we had to stay here to pick up sticks in the yard! Oh, well. In less than a year, I'll have all sorts of time with my honey... 0 Comments.
