Once In Awhile Joke
Dyslexic Lightbulb
How does it change many dyslexics to take a lightbulb?
Once in Awhile Lyrics
"I Hope You Dance"
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give fate a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Living might mean taking chances
But they're worth taking
Lovin' might be a mistake
But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
Reconsider
Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)

I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
Dance
I hope you dance
I hope you dance
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always)
I hope you dance
(Rolling us along)
I hope you dance
(Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
I hope you dance
(Where those years have gone)

(Tell me who)
I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their years and wonder)
(Where those years have gone)
Things Are Fairly Pleasant Again

Yesterday, I came home to our Christmas tree toppled over onto the floor. I'm guessing the cats did it when they were fighting during the day (since they don't get along well at all), but I'm not really sure. Anyway, there were bulbs from the tree clear out into the kitchen (Our Christmas tree's in the living room, which comes after our kitchen)! I panicked, knowing that Vicky had been extra mean lately anyway. I called Matt in histerics. He told me to clean up as much of it as I could so that maybe Vicky wouldn't be so mad. Luckily, as soon as I had found the tree, I unplugged everything. Water was all over the place! I could have been electrocuted! I tried to pick up the tree, but to no use. It was way too big, and wouldn't stop sliding off the piece of wood it was originally posted on. Luckily, all the presents I had for anyone in the household had been off to the side. The tree had fallen straight forward, missing all my presents. Unfortunately, the one present that Miranda had placed under the tree, the one for me, was crushed and soaked. I removed it from the monstrocity of a pine and put it downstairs by the woodstove to dry. The present was obviously some sort of clothing because I could tell it was in a gift box, and it was really smooshy. When Vicky called me the first time, she seemed furious and irritable. I didn't really know how to deal with her. She called back a second time when she found out she was going to be later than she had originally planned. This time, Vicky seemed fairly okay. When she got home, she actually was talking to me. Matt and I saw this as an opportunity to ask her if it was alright if I got off the bus at his house to spend some time with the kid we're babysitting Friday and then come back to my house to try and watch the rest of the movies he rented. Luckily, Vicky agreed so I'm back on track and excited about Friday!

You suck, and that's sad.
