Hi Daniel, say Hello to Kitty! (my kids brought home an abandoned kitten!)
Thursday. 7.24.08 12:54 am
coming home from teaching, my son came to the door as I was entering in and said "Come Daddy, I have something to show you!" Before I know it, there, at the side of the living room, was our printer box converted into a little haven for an abandoned kitten. It was a newborn and her eyes are not even opened yet. Reluctant as I am (cos cats always give me the creep since I was young because of their blank look), I agree to let the kids keep and nurse it until a point when it is old enough to survive on its own or find a surrogate mother to take care of her. Our neighbour's helper (who is a lover of cats) had agreed to feed her while we are out in the day. So here we are, having a newborn who needs to be fed with milk every couple of hours. Remind me of the days when my kids are young again but of cos the feeling is quite different altogether! My kids decided to call it sniffy :)

here is a video of her drinking the milk
