when i was young, i GROW by learning to be dependent on others... my parents would feed me, clean me up, pay for my everything... when i am older, i GROW by learning to be independent... I would do things on my own, i would pay for my own things, I would bear the consequences of my own actions... when i am old enough to be married, i GROW by learning to be interdependent with my spouse... we decide and do things together, we build our home together, we go through thick and thin together... when i am old enough to be a papa, i GROW by learning to let my kids be dependent on me... i now feed them, clean them up, pay for their everything... when i am old enough to be a grandpa, i GROW by learning to let my kids be independent of me... i would encourage them to move out and set up their own families, i would encourage them to bring up their own children on their own and not simply dump their children to me :P when i am of a ripe old age and physically too weak to move, i GROW by learning to be dependent on others again... someone would have to feed me, clean me up and pay for my everything... i guess it's back to the good old days when i was first born again... what goes round comes around... :D Recommended by 1 Member  3 Comments.
