what a way to end a perfectly nice day/weekend. spent all yesterday at a friends graduation party and then playing arcade games. then today spent hours at a park playing soccer and hanging out with friends. afterwards me and sank headed back to his house with some dinner and to chill for a few hours. i leave a lil before midnight like i always do. drive home and go to grab my house keys from the center console of my car when i realized sank's mp3 player wasnt in there. out of habit i went to look for it to put it in there when i realized it wasnt there at all. i spent several minutes tearing through everything in my car, under the seat, between the seats, in the glove box, all while on the phone to sank making sure he didnt take it inside his house although we were both pretty sure he didnt since he was going to leave it there so i could listen to it on the way to work. i figured maybe i was just missing seeing it and drove back to sank's house so he could help me looking. while driving back over i heard my tape deck make a weird sound. so i looked over and switched it from tape to the radio and then back to tape again. thats when i noticed my tape converter i use to play the mp3 player and my cd player on in the tape deck was missing. now i never, ever, ever take the tape converter out of the tape deck, let alone out of the car. thats about when i figured someone had to have stolen the mp3 player. once i got to sank's we looked for a bit, but both knowing that if my tape converter was gone too then it wasnt just misplaced somewhere. so we called the cops and waited for them to show up. when the officer did we told him what happened and he filed a report but told us there wasnt much he could really do other than that, and that nothing much would prolly come about form it. i cant believe someone broke into my car and took it! and it had to of been for the 2 or so hours my car was parked on the street infront of sank's house. there's a slight chance that i might have forgotten to lock the doors, which i almost always remember and is the first thing i do once i open my door is to lock them, but since there were no signs of forced entry i'm afriad i might have forgotten. either way though, it was dark outside so no one would have been able to see the player in the car unless they were deliberately looking inside to take it. the strange thing was nothing else was taken, only the mp3 player and my tape converter. my other cd player and sank's cd player and my old mp3 player we all still in there. even the charger and ear phones for the stolen mp3 player were left in the car. it aggravates me so much that i cant even park my car in front of my boyfriends house without having to worry now about it getting broken into. people in this world have no sense of respect for other people and their things.

That sucks
I had my whole stereo system stolen out of my car right in front of my house. I had my doors locked and they broke both the passenger side window and back to get it all out. I was so mad cause I only had it in there for a month. My insurance company paid for it all but it's not the point. If they hadn't paid for it I would have been out of 2500 + some dollars. I now have an alarm on my car. :) Some people are just down right rude. Well, I hope you get your stuff back or at least find out who took it.

ur right, they feel tht everything is entitled to them. very few people grow up these days with respect for one another's property. it's a shame really. sorry that had to happen to u both.
