When I am sad I watch the the Lord of the Rings dvd's we have. Something about the shire...the elves...gandalf....and the quest for good always makes me feel better. I've probably watched those movies a hundred times. (which is why he probably hates them...a. because I play them out b. because its associated to a bad mood). I cant really explain what it is about them that cheers me up, because the movies are pretty dark in some places. But they do. (It's not really just the movies either, I guzzled down the books pretty fast too).

Tonight is one of those nights (oops its actually 3am) where I will cuddle up on the couch and turn on the dvd once more.

I had a falling out with someone I considered a friend over a stupid online roleplaying game. (I regularly play Everquest). It wasnt really about the game, but his behavior towards myself and others when he plays...he is the bitchiest guy I have ever met...he throws tantrums and trys to maniuplate people. I had had enough and quit the guild he was leader of. (actually we are friends in the "real world" too) I feel bad because I think our friendship is over because of this. It really sucks.

I dont think my sad mood us entirely up to the drama from that though. I think there are some hormonal forces at work here. I suspect a certain monthly visitor will be here soon.....and I've got the empty brownie pan to prove it.
