mood: mellow

New environments can be very intimidating as I found out this weekend. Exciting but also scary at the same time. I just discovered that about myself...I'm that kinda person, one who doesn't usually go out of their comfort zone. But then when I do I get over the anxiety and it's all good after that. My weekend was ok...how was everybody's? Studying for exams I guess...hehe I did heaps of study, then again I had time for a bit of destress-clubbing and the rest of the time work!

Fri: I worked at woolies. The place is really growing on me...and I shouldn't allow it to becuz I know I need to move on. Feeling a lil bit too comfortable...haha that means I have to have a new challenge. It was ok...got home and was in my pjs when my girls Tiff and Yo buzzed me. They had just finished at the restaurant and felt like dressing up to go dancing. LOL! I just went along with the enthusiasm, I am persuaded easily :/ hehehe. First of all we went to Varga Lounge. It was not bad-rnb music was good. Thing was too many DOODS - with jim beam in their hand and scouting the floor for chicks. To add to that the MC was encouraging them to pick up chicks!! We needed a change in scene so we went to the Paramount. Upstairs there were about 5 ppl on the dance floor, but the music was groovy trance, that we easily got into. It was quite fun - miss dancing with my girls. Hahaha it went off when more ppl came! Then we hit the base club. In and out of there in 10 secs. Not our scene...

Afters we went for supper. Which was such a bad...but good idea - because we had pasta after 6pm!! Carbs no good at this time! The Italian owner was so nice to us, he was a bit weird though...cuz he was telling us his life story and wouldn't leave us alone. He let us try this 41 yr old port, quite nice..but I couldn't help thinking maybe he has a motive. Ahhhh he just treat us nicely cuz it's a new business and he needs to establish some loyal/regular customers. :p

Sat: missed chinese school cuz had to work early. Teacher is not happy! I emailed her and she's like 'I'll see you next week!' hmmm...sat was good. Work was ok. I'm getting to know my workmates more and include myself more in the staffroom. I'm usually walking in the city for lunch so I thought I'd be sociable and stay in the staffroom. Home that night, studying hard...quite proud of myself :) Listened to the sounds of 'the church' club on 92.9fm. Hahaha I cannot escape it!!! But slept relatively early after study.

Sun: Work - haha what is new? This time I was tired...couldn't be bothered and the customers could tell. I just wanted to sleep! LOL! Or be at home studying. It's a hard life for students huh? Work, study, family, social life etc how are you supposed to balance all that? And get sufficient sleep? I dunno but I think we are pretty amazing - young adults of today! ;) We hope we can do it all... Back home -more study. You guys bored yet? It's not very riveting is it? - MY LIFE!! :p

Ehhh...now mon morn...didn't see my boo all weekend :/ But it's ok...more motivation and anticipation when I do see him after all this is over :) Might go to the gym now before I start study. Take care all!! Have a lovely week ^_^

I know...
Scary huh...over-friendly! But I guess that is their culture. And for us asians it is important to have our personal space of at least 2 feet!
