Faye Wong -Eyes on me (Classic!) | Dead roses r beautiful... Thursday. 12.4.03 9:08 pm  I have always liked dead flowers if they are preserved in the right way. Esp roses. I don't like the live ones cuz their appearance only lasts a couple of days...when a guy gives a bouquet of live roses I just raise an eyebrow. It's like their love for u...wilting! I rather a guy give me a dead rose, crusty, dull colour, for it will be timeless! Unless he was able to encapsulate it in an eternal glass box (like in Disney's Beauty & the Beast) so that it would live forever...hehehe...nah I am not that demanding. No need to give flowers! Period! These past few days I have been running around and around, working...alot! Keeping myself busy, may be to also avoid my mind from thinking about certain things. That's what it tends to do...go off in it's own lil world and just think of of all these ways to put me in a down mood. Haven't been in a down mood in ages so that's good. I'm in sane....I went for THE DEEN interview yesterday. Still not giving up on a bartending job, my mum wasn't too happy and she just said 'it's you life'. It wasn't very encouraging...more of like 'you bear the consequences for the actions u take'. *sigh* I just want to try new experiences and do something I like. Cuz if I don't seize opportunities now I dunno when it will happen again. They just asked 2 questions and sent me off! There were at least 40 ppl applying. Must say there were a lot of skanky ppl... it's an interview not like u are going clubbing??!!! I have to make this short...hoping to get some fitness into the regime...can't have an hr of not doing anything... If somebody can hold me down and teach me how to relax and enjoy doing nothing I will give u anything! But it is a tough job. Anyone who knows me well will know I am a workaholic hehehe! 1 Comments. dead flowers I was looking for some illustration fitting to my poem.
