Name/Celeb of the Day

Yup thats right my faithful readers!! I am putting a name of the day here everyday (I will try.) I am going to put either a random name, a celebs name, or just a jiberish name. Then I will babble on about it..he he. Ok I will post my first name of the day entry right now. Promise.

Tori

Im sorry I haven't done one of these things in a while. Anyway, I chose the name Tori because Tori is my bestest friend in the whole world!! Check out her nutang site at SnickerGal. Ok so I have none her since I was six months and she was born. Whats really cool is that we are born exactly six months, to the day, apart. I am the older one (Sorry just had to put that in.)Shorter one but older one. She is an all around cool friend and we always have great laughs together.

Bob

Bob made me put his name or rather its the first one I could think of and now hes really excited about it! Ok so know I got to write some paragraph about him. Well when I think about how he looks I imagine that Bob, the new bachellor for that show "The Bachelor." That Bob is so cute, just like my Bob, and really funny like that Bob. BTW: He wants you guys to comment on my entry: "Aww Thanks Guys PS: THE BLACKOUT!!". Yes I told them about the entry Bob!!!! Grr. Anyway bob is cool with me and bob rocks.

Yao

This is the name of that new basketball player. Him or his name at least are like a new fad. But the fad is dying down. First he was in a bunch of commericals and sports shows. And why? Because he was tall, foreign and was really good at b-ball. Isn't that like alot of b-ball players noawadays? Why can't they honor some SHORT good b-ball player??

Annie

Although I very much don't like this name, I know someone with that name who is very nice and alot fun. (Also if you have da name annie u r cool. ;) But I do know of one more annie, the character annie in the play and musical and movie. The story is cute and the girl is always a good actress and singer. And although the story and songs are kinda inspirational and very optimistic, its crazy and kinda unrealistic how optimistic dis girl is. Damn the popup just came up that said I have fiv min left cause of dumb parental controls. Finish dis tommorow. To be continued...

My brother wants to make a site with my cousins and I am helping with the HTML and stuff cause I know some of it from like xanga and here. Anyway I am learning how the embed a Windows Media Player into a site, with webmonkey.com or something like that. Anyway I was wondering once I get the Windows Media Player on the site, and my brother starts putting in different videos, what do I do about the copyright notice? We don't want people copying any of our videos or slideshows or anything like that. So what would we do about our copyright notice? How do we put one? Can we put one? HELP and THANKS!!

whose videos are they? are they just random things you've taken? are they original movies that you have made and produced? or are they someone elses content? ii'm not completely sure, bu ti think that you may not be able to copyright films like that, or any music. if you can, it'll still run you about $70-$120 at the US patent/copyright offices.

anyway, even if you did get a copyright certificate, there's no way to prevent people from copying your stuff on the net. no laws that would allow prosecution of peopel under any isp, really. uhm.. so, you just can't do that, sorry. =

copiers copy even tho its copyright so I suggest you just add some C by UREMAIL here on every other frame or something? I dunno.. Oh btw its ok I'll figure out the code somehow.. if not I'll make my own!! MWAHAHAHA lol yes it would be funny!

All creative works are already copyrighted, as of the moment you have created them. However, if you plan to sue anybody over theft/misuse of your intellectual property, they must be registered with the US Copyright office. Copyright is not the same as patent; generally, the former is for creative works (art) and the latter is for inventions (technology). The website, should you want to register, is at http://www.copyright.gov/register/performing.html. Again, registering will do you no practical good unless you plan to sue (or plan to threaten to sue) somebody for infringement. Though the RIAA finds this simple enough, le_battement is right, this is next to impossible and/or prohibitively expensive (want to hire a lawyer?) for the ordinary user. Copyright symbols should be followed by your legal name (or the official name of your organization), not your e-mail address.
