l'océan pacifique Uncyclopedii Forum Fâché | Midnight Ridazz Sunday. 7.16.06 12:56 pm On Friday I road with the Midnight Ridazz and it was amazing. Some say there were like 1300 bikes at the begining I think it was more around 600... but still it was a hell of a lot of bikes This is only a small part of the crowd: From the other side of the street: More bikes: MORE bikes!!: Here is my friend Max: and here is his friend from Hong Kong: Everybody going through a tunnel: Everybody at a break: More bikes!! and even more bikes!! All of the pictures were uploaded on cicle.org who needs to get some credit for being pretty much awesome. Yeah so the whole experience was insane. We started up in echo park then went down Silverlake blvd to down town NEVER stoping at a red light because there were so many of us convential driving laws did not apply. Note to self: never take a picture with your right hand when riding a bike...I tried to do so and then I needed to brake, but because my right hand was occupied I went for the front brake and I flew over the handle bars...did a couple of nice flips and hit the street almost causing a multibike disaster. But I only got a few scrapes and kept on riding! Then we went through the tunnel you saw over to the Hancock Park neighbor hood through some residential houses over to an actual park (in front of an old persons home). Whether it was the loud nosies, flashing bike lights or illegal activities, I will never know, but anyway the Po Po came and they even brought a helicopter with a big bright search light... but we were just glad because it lit up our way! From there we went over to LACC and we circled the parking lot for a while and then I decided to take a nap And then after all of that we road home and it was just beautiful. Did you see the accident at the tour de france where the guy flipped over the guardrail? That picture makes me glad I don't. » Dilated on 2006-07-18 11:32:42 i love those pictures! that seems like so much fun, i wish they did things like that around here. and i agree that the rabbit should have oven mitts on, that would be the cutest thing ever. » Chloefoxx on 2006-07-18 12:21:27 awesome I haven't been on my bike in a long time... I like walkin' around [pretty much any] downtown at night. I love the lights, atmosphere, and everything. And this statement seems rather off-subject. OH WELL. » invisible on 2006-07-19 10:16:20
