| Sunday. 8.8.04 5:36 pm Today I had the first ever conversation with my brother that was almost resembling a picturesque talk between two siblings. It was almost surreal, but amazingly cool. We never talked much before except about stuff in his life that he was unahppy about or occasionally our parents, but that was it. He's 24 and I am 18 and that is as much as we have ever talked. However today marked a new revelation in our relationship. We talked about me more than him, about my life, my choices and experiences that I have or want to endure. He gave me some very wise, optimistic but truthful advise from his own experience (some of which I never knew he had). I really began to admire him and finally, for the first time, look up to him. He WILL always be there to talk and that is how a brother/sister relationship should be. He never got to be the protective brother while he was living in our house. I kind of anticipated him to be a little more protective or weary, but really, he was amazingly supportive and knows me a lot better than I thought.
