You Smell Funny
quote for the day
"You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, 'Why not?'"
"A lifetime of happiness! No man alive could bear it; it would be hell on earth. "
-- George Bernard Shaw
song of the moment
The Hand That Feeds
You're keeping in step
In the line
Got your chin held high and you feel just fine
Because you do
What you're told
But inside your heart it is black and it's hollow and it's cold

Just how deep do you believe?
Will you bite the hand that feeds?
Will you chew until it bleeds?
Can you get up off your knees?
Are you brave enough to see?
Do you want to change it?

What if this whole crusade's
A charade
And behind it all there's a price to be paid
For the blood
On which we dine
Justified in the name of the holy and the divine

Just how deep do you believe?
Will you bite the hand that feeds?
Will you chew until it bleeds?
Can you get up off your knees?
Are you brave enough to see?
Do you want to change it?

So naive
I keep holding on to what I want to believe
I can see
But I keep holding on and on and on and on

Will you bite the hand that feeds you?
Will you stay down on your knees?
oh the super bowl.

sometimes i wonder why i even bother to make entries because i know only one person ever reads this. oh well. here goes another waste of my time.

the pats won. i expected this, but i admittedly rooted for the eagles all the way until the bitter end. and i think they did very well despite the fact that t.o.barely played at all. and i am going to marry tom brady. and all that said, it wasn't a great game, but it wasn't too bad. the first half dragged a little because of stupid mistakes. although there was some amazing defense the entire game. and i wish the eagles would learn how to run the ball. it is very difficult to win a game if you can't learn how to run the all up the feild. also, a little too much blitzing was going on, but hey, no team is perefect. as far as commercials were concerned, i am a little disappointed. this year was by far the worst i have ever seen. i did like the pepsi one with p diddy though. that was pretty funny. and i mean the full version one at the beginning of the game, not the short one at the end. the half time show was quite impressive. but then again, who doesn't love paul mccartney. and there were no wardrobe malfunctions and the stage was fucking awesome. i was quite impressed this year. i particulary enjoyed 'live and let die'. and well, that is all i have to say about this year's superbowl because it was semi-disappointing. but that is ok because the all star game is on the 20th. go spurs and manu ginobli!!!

i'm guessing that one person is me lol...and you pretty much nailed it on the super bowl...T.O. did play a fair amount, i mean he got over 100 yards receiving...you may want to go to boston to start things up with Tom, i don't think he knows you exist yet besides, he's got competition *winks* haha joking!...i agree, the first half did drag but the defenses played well...yeah they do need to run more but the screen plays and short passes to westbrook usually make up for that for the most part...i only found a couple commercials to be funny, so i was disappointed too...the stage did look awesome at half time...i liked live and let die as well...but yeah i agree, overall semi disappointing...i was happy with either team winning though...hopefully next year will be better!

Know what,
I forgot the super bowl was happening multiple times that day, lol.
And about your last entry, I secretly like Holla Back Girl. Don't tell anyone. And she is a lot different than before, but meh, I agree new is better than none. Look at all that bad grammar and punctuation.

True...like with Metallica, new is better than none.

yeah me too...their music was so great in the begining...then it was just good after the black album...then they came out with St. Anger and it took me quite a while to think that was decent at all
